About the university:
Kocaeli University was established in 1976, and after the Marmara earthquake, which caused damage to 75% of the university buildings, Kocaeli University was established in a new place in Umut Tepe region in 2005 with the aim of raising generations that develop different ways of thinking, produce alternative viewpoints, and are able to produce knowledge and technology by conducting research that contributes to the educational fields and all other branches of science.
